Why do people always want to hear the bad news first?
You know when someone says that they need to tell you something and it involves good and bad news, they ask which one you’d like to hear first. I’ve noticed that most of the time, people want to hear the bad news first instead of the good news.
Why is that?
Because then they will not be just thinking about what kind of bad news you have to tell them and they can enjoy the good news more.

When you hear the bad news you wanna hear what you did not expect. Most likely the the good news is easy to cope with if you expect it or not.
